PVC White Cord:

Vinyl White cord is the most used cord in jump rope.  Any start up team or club is recommended to start with the vinyl
cord.  Typically used for single rope freestyle in a short and long handle style.  This cord is light in weight allowing cutting
through the air while jumping crossed tricks and multiple unders.  This type of cord is also very common for use with
double dutch speed and often used in double dutch freestyles for beginner teams.  This cord is also very common for
long rope double dutch performance ropes: including 25 – 100 foot ropes.  This type of cord will be available for sale
from Revolution Ropes soon, special design with the revolution rope handles – stay tuned!

PVC Orange Cord:
The Vinyl Orange cord is use in all the same aspects as the white pvc cord, however, the Orange PVC cord provides a
slight stretch when turned at higher speeds such as multiple under’s in single rope or double dutch speed.  This “stretch”
is preferred by some jumpers allowing for extra length while turning tricks, or if a jumper tends to pull their arms away from
their body.

Stainless Steel Wire Uncoated:
This is the most common type of wire used for a single rope speed rope.  This type of wire is the “ideal” weight and
consistency to “cut” the air while performing single rope speed.  It performs best in humid and thick air regions.   This wire
is considered the “fastest” wire available.  Best for advanced jumpers turning 30 second, 1 minute, 3 minute, double
unders and triple unders. This wire type comes standard with the Revolution Rope 500.

Galvanized Wire:
This wire type is used for a single rope speed rope.  Similar to the stainless steel wire type but contains approximately
half the amount of wound wire then the stainless steel wire.  This gives the galvanized wire a “lighter” feel and more
controllable action.  This wire is preferred in low humid or thin air regions or for jumpers looking for more control.  It is said
you must use more force to turn this wire.  This wire is less durable and will need to be replaced more often.

Stainless Steel Nylon Coated Wire:           Grade 1 (fastest coated wire)
This wire is a grade 1 of 3 coated wire types.  This wire is considered the fastest coated wire available.  Stainless steel
coated with Nylon provides a nice combination to cut through the air.    This wire type is recommended for advanced
jumpers. (grade 1 is considered the fastest wire)

Stainless Steel PVC Coated wire:          Grade 2 (faster coated wire)
This wire type is a grade 2 of 3 coated wire types.  This wire type is recommended for beginner to intermediate jumpers.
It offers control as the grade 3 type, but the stainless steel wire encourages to “cut” the air faster than the galvanized
grade 3.  (grade 2 is a fast wire, offers more control then a grade 1)

Galvanized PVC Coated Wire:          Grade 3 (fast)
This wire is a grade 3 of 3 coated wire types.   This wire type has a lot of movement (bendable), allowing for the most
control of all the coated wires.  This wire is very ideal for beginner to intermediate jumpers.  It is also very ideal for
advanced jumpers in need of a “heavier” rope for training purposes.  This wire type is also highly recommended for
adults. (grade 3 wire offers the most control of all 3 grades of coated wire)

Galvanized PVC Coated “Special” thicker:
This wire type is a special wire that has a thicker coating.  This thicker coating provides the rope with the perfect weight
and firmness that is ideal for pop-ups and double dutch speed.  Recommended only for double dutch speed/power
events – this wire will NOT fit in any revolution rope handles.

Plastic Beads:
Plastic beads are popular for many uses.  They are often found strung up on a piece of rope that allows for no stretching
or pulling.  Plastic beads are most popular with double dutch freestyle events.  The plastic beads provide weight allowing
the turners control of the ropes, the “click” of the beads on the ground also make for a good beat to hear the rhythm of the
ropes.  Plastic beads can also be found on single rope long and short handle freestyle ropes – again providing both
control and sound for performance.  Other uses include 10 foot ropes used in Chinese wheel, and 25ft+ ropes used for
long rope performance.  Multi colored beads COMING SOON!

Soft Beads:
Soft beads are not as commonly used as the plastic bead.  The difference for a soft bead is they provide safety for
younger jumpers.  When a soft bead is stepped or jumped on, a child or jumper is less likely to “roll” on the bead –
recommending to use soft beads when working with kids.  The soft bead is also lighter in weight and can be very ideal for
training multiply under and speed events when turned at high rates.  The soft bead can at times feel more “bouncy” when
used in a double dutch freestyle event.  Multi colored soft beads COMING SOON!

Rope (Climbing Rope):
Rope is most commonly used in double dutch events, not in single rope.  Rope provides weight for the turners that are
often preferred to many double dutch teams.  Rope is also used in double dutch speed events and is suggested to use
as a training method for turners trying to build strength and endurance for turning at high speeds for double dutch events.
Multi colored rope COMING SOON!
